2. Introduction
Bolt Internet Services Ltd. ("Bolt", "we", "us" or "our") provides websites, webpages, online portals, landing pages, forms, service-qualification tools, account-access pages, marketing pages, support pages and other online properties that we own or operate (collectively, the "Website").
The Website may include text, images, graphics, logos, icons, video, audio, software, tools, forms, calculators, service-availability information, plan information, support materials, documents and other materials (collectively, the "Content"). The Content is provided for informational and customer-service purposes only.
By accessing or using the Website, downloading Content, submitting information through the Website or otherwise interacting with the Website, you agree to these Website Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not access or use the Website or download any Content.
These Website Terms apply to ordinary access to and use of the Website and Content. They do not apply to the use of Bolt Internet services, which are governed by Bolt's Terms and Conditions and the customer Service Agreement. If you use the Website or customer portal to order, activate, manage, modify, pay for, obtain support for or cancel a Service, the applicable Service Agreement governs that transaction. If these Website Terms conflict with the Service Agreement in relation to an Account, order, billing, cancellation, portal transaction or Service, the Terms and Conditions prevail.
3. General Disclaimers
Accuracy of Information: Bolt intends for the Content on the Website to be accurate, current and reliable. However, the Content may be compiled from multiple sources and may change over time. The Website and Content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bolt does not guarantee that the Website or Content will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, free of viruses or other harmful components, or suitable for your specific purpose.
No Warranty: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bolt disclaims all warranties, representations and conditions, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, relating to the Website, Content or any matter connected with the Website, including any implied warranties or conditions of accuracy, non-infringement, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability or security.
Service Availability: Plan descriptions, prices, promotions, installation details, service availability, speeds, equipment descriptions, television or add-on information and other service information shown on the Website may change and may vary by address, building, unit, technology, network, partner, installation requirements and other factors. Website information is not a binding service commitment unless Bolt incorporates it into your Service Summary, order confirmation or another part of the Service Agreement. Bolt will honour any offer or representation that applicable law requires it to honour.
Limited Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bolt will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, loss of revenue, business interruption, loss of goodwill or other similar loss arising solely from ordinary access to, use of, inability to use or reliance on the Website or Content.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights, remedies or protections that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection, privacy, telecommunications or other laws.
4. Links and Third-Party Websites
The Website may contain links or references to websites, applications, portals, platforms, documents, social media pages or services that are owned or operated by third parties. These links are provided for convenience only.
Bolt does not control third-party websites, applications, platforms or services and is not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices, policies, terms, products or services, except to the extent Bolt has a non-excludable legal responsibility or has expressly undertaken a responsibility in a Service Agreement. A link does not by itself mean that Bolt endorses or controls the linked service. Optional television, streaming or add-on partners may have their own customer terms and privacy policies.
You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms, privacy policies and security practices that apply to any third-party website or service you choose to access. You are also responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect your devices, accounts and information from viruses, malware, phishing, scams and other risks.
5. Use of the Website
You may use the Website and Content only for lawful, personal, non-commercial and informational purposes, and only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
You must not post, upload, publish, reproduce, transmit, distribute, submit, store, interfere with or otherwise use the Website or Content in a manner that:

- interferes with, disrupts, damages, disables, overburdens or impairs the Website, Content, networks, systems, security features, accounts, forms, service-qualification tools or other users;
- uses scraping, crawling, robots, spiders, data mining, harvesting, automated extraction or similar tools, except where permitted by law or by Bolt in writing;
- attempts to gain unauthorized access to the Website, Content, accounts, systems, networks, data, passwords, authentication measures or non-public areas;
- forges identifiers, impersonates another person or organization, misrepresents your identity or affiliation, or submits false or misleading information;
- uses the Website to send spam, phishing messages, unsolicited commercial communications or other unlawful communications; or
- is otherwise contrary to the purpose, security or acceptable use of the Website.
Bolt may investigate, restrict, suspend, remove or block access to the Website or Content where Bolt reasonably believes these Website Terms, Website security or applicable law may have been violated. Bolt may cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, courts, suppliers and other parties where permitted or required by law.
6. Copyright
All Content published on, made available through or otherwise accessible from the Website is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The Content and the copyright in the Content are owned or controlled by Bolt, its affiliates, licensors, suppliers or other content providers.
Unless Bolt states otherwise in writing, you may view, download, print or reproduce reasonable portions of the Content for your own personal, non-commercial and informational use, provided that you do not modify the Content and you keep all copyright notices, trademark notices, proprietary notices and other restrictions in the Content.
You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, publish, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, broadcast, sell, license, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform or otherwise use the Website or Content without prior written permission from the applicable rights holder.
If you believe that Content on the Website infringes copyright or another intellectual-property right, contact Bolt at abuse@boltinternet.ca and provide enough information to identify the material, the right claimed and your contact information. Copyright notices concerning customer Internet activity should be sent through the process identified in Bolt's Acceptable Use Policy.
7. Trademarks
Bolt, the Bolt name, Bolt logos, product names, service names, slogans, graphics, icons and other marks displayed on the Website may be trademarks, trade names, service marks or other brand identifiers owned or controlled by Bolt, its affiliates or licensors.
Kurnl, Kurnl Systems Ltd. and related names or logos may be trademarks, trade names, service marks or other brand identifiers owned or controlled by Kurnl Systems Ltd. or its affiliates.
Other product, service and company names mentioned on the Website may be trademarks, trade names, service marks or other brand identifiers of their respective owners. No licence or right to use any trademark, trade name, service mark, logo or other brand identifier is granted by your access to or use of the Website.
You may not use any trademark, trade name, service mark, logo or other brand identifier displayed on the Website without the prior written permission of the relevant owner.
8. Privacy and Confidential Information
Bolt collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy applies to Website forms, service-qualification tools, customer portals, chat features and online ordering, and explains when information may be shared with service providers, network providers or optional television, streaming and add-on partners. A third-party partner may also process information under its own privacy policy.
Do not submit confidential, sensitive or proprietary information through the Website unless the applicable form or communication channel is intended for that information. Information submitted through the Website may be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and any applicable service documents.
If you submit information through an online form, service-qualification tool, support form, account page, chat function or other Website feature, you represent that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it.
9. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will indemnify Bolt and its affiliates against reasonable third-party claims, damages and costs to the extent directly caused by your unlawful or fraudulent use of the Website, your wilful misconduct, a material infringement of another person's rights through content you submit, or a deliberate material breach of these Website Terms.
This indemnity does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by Bolt's or a service provider's negligence, breach, unlawful conduct or wilful misconduct, and it does not apply where it cannot lawfully be enforced.
10. Territory and Service Availability
Some products, services, plans, speeds, promotions, equipment, installation options, television or streaming packages and support options shown on the Website are available only in certain buildings, addresses, regions or circumstances. Availability may depend on address qualification, building readiness, network or partner availability, third-party facilities, installation feasibility, device compatibility, customer eligibility and other factors.
Information shown on the Website does not guarantee that any product, service, price, speed, promotion, installation date or feature is available to you unless Bolt confirms it in your service order or other agreement.
For information about products and services that may be available to you, contact Bolt using the contact information on the Website or complete the service-qualification process provided by Bolt.
11. Changes
Bolt may change, remove, suspend, restrict or discontinue any Website, Content, feature, link, tool, product description, promotion or other Website material at any time without notice, subject to applicable law and any binding service agreement that applies to existing customers.
Bolt may update these Website Terms by posting the revised version on the Website and may provide additional notice by email, portal message or another permitted method as required by law. The updated Website Terms apply to Website use from their stated effective date.
Continued use of the Website after revised Website Terms become effective constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law and only for Website use. If you do not agree, stop using the Website. Stopping Website use does not automatically cancel a Bolt Service; cancellation must be completed under the Terms and Conditions.
12. Miscellaneous
These Website Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any Website-specific document expressly referenced here, constitute the agreement governing ordinary use of the Website and Content. They do not replace the Service Agreement. The Terms and Conditions prevail for orders, Accounts, Services, billing, support, cancellation and customer-portal transactions, while the Acceptable Use Policy governs detailed network, Account and service-use restrictions.
Bolt's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive Bolt's right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision will be modified or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
These Website Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to mandatory consumer-protection, privacy and other laws that apply to you. The governing law for a Bolt Service is stated in the Terms and Conditions.
These Website Terms are provided in English. If Bolt provides a translated version, the English version will govern to the extent permitted by applicable law unless Bolt expressly states otherwise.
