Bolt’s cancellation policy

In this article you will learn: how to cancel your Bolt service, when cancellation takes effect and what happens to your final bill and equipment.

Bolt Internet service is month-to-month, with no fixed-term or minimum commitment. You can cancel at any time without advance notice or a cancellation fee. Month-to-month describes your billing cycle - it does not require you to complete another full month before cancelling.

Steps

    The account holder can request cancellation by:

    Tell us whether you want the cancellation to take effect immediately or on a later date.

    If you select a future cancellation date, your service will remain active until that date.
  4. 4
    Bolt will send you written confirmation of your cancellation.
  5. 5
    You remain responsible for monthly service charges through the effective cancellation date and any other valid charges incurred before that date.

    If you paid for service in advance, Bolt will refund the unused days after your cancellation date on a daily prorated basis, with applicable taxes adjusted.

    You will receive a final account statement showing your cancellation date, final charges, credits and any refund or balance owing.

If you cancel before your service is activated, Bolt will refund all prepaid monthly service fees.

What happens to Bolt equipment?

You do not need to return Bolt-supplied equipment when you cancel. The equipment remains the property of Bolt or an affiliate and must stay at the approved service address unless Bolt authorizes otherwise.
