Payment methods

In this article you will learn: which payment methods you can use to pay for your Bolt internet service.

Bolt currently accepts major credit and debit cards. Payments are securely processed by Stripe.

Accepted card brands

• Visa, including Visa Debit
• Mastercard, including Debit Mastercard
• American Express
• Discover and Diners Club
• JCB
• UnionPay

Standard Interac-only debit cards cannot currently be used for online payments.

How to add or update a payment method

   Sign in to your Bolt Customer Portal.

   Open the Billing section.

   Select the option to add or update your payment method.

   Enter your card information and save your changes.

Your complete card details are handled by Stripe. Bolt receives only the limited payment information needed to manage your account and payments.

Coming soon

We plan to offer direct debit (also known as pre-authorized debit) from Canadian bank accounts in the future. This option is not yet available.
