In this article you will learn: how Bolt approaches promotional pricing, the Bolt Speed Test and loyalty pricing.
Bolt does not use teaser prices that quietly expire and leave you paying more than expected. Any regular price, temporary benefit or special pricing that applies to your service will be clearly disclosed before you sign up.
The Bolt Speed Test
The Bolt Speed Test is a 25-day try-before-you-choose experience:
- You receive the highest internet speed available at your address.
- You pay the price of Bolt’s lowest-priced plan during the 25-day period.
- Bolt reviews your usage and network-performance information to understand how much speed your household needs. We do not monitor the content of your online activity.
- At the end of the 25 days, we recommend the plan that best matches your needs.
- You choose the plan you want and can see its ongoing monthly price before making a change.
The Bolt Speed Test is designed to help you choose confidently—not to surprise you with an automatic price increase.
Loyalty pricing
After three months of continuous Bolt service, you unlock a lower monthly price as a thank-you for staying with us. Unlike a traditional promotional rate, the loyalty price does not have a preset expiry date.
A note about future price changes
No preset expiry does not mean that plan prices can never change. Because Bolt service is month-to-month, Bolt may change a plan’s price in the future by providing at least 30 calendar days’ written notice. This is different from a promotional discount automatically expiring on a predetermined date.
