Many common connection problems can be resolved with a few quick checks. Complete these steps before changing advanced settings or factory-resetting equipment.

Steps
  1. 1
Check the Status section of your Bolt Customer Portal for an outage or maintenance.
  2. 2
Confirm that your router and other Bolt equipment have power.
  3. 3
Make sure all cables are firmly connected.
  4. 4
Check whether the issue affects one device or every device.
  5. 5
Confirm that the device is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
  6. 6
    Restart the affected device.
  7. 7
Restart your Bolt equipment and allow several minutes for it to reconnect.
  8. 8
Move closer to the router or test using an Ethernet connection.
  9. 9
Test more than one website or app.
  10. 10
Run a speed test if the connection is working but feels slow.
