Why is my Wi-Fi network not appearing?

In this article you will learn: what to do when your Bolt Wi-Fi network does not appear in your device’s available network list.

If your Wi-Fi name is missing, the issue may be with your device’s Wi-Fi settings, your distance from the router or the router itself.

Steps
  1. 1
Confirm that your router is plugged in and powered on.
  2. 2
Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on and airplane mode is turned off on your device.
  3. 3
Move closer to the router and refresh the list of available networks.
  4. 4
Turn your device’s Wi-Fi off, wait a few seconds and turn it back on.
  5. 5
Check whether the network appears on another device.
  6. 6
    Restart the affected device.
  7. 7
Restart your router and wait several minutes for the Wi-Fi network to reappear.

If the network does not appear on any device after restarting the router, contact Bolt Support.
